“I am grateful to have been on this journey with all my colleagues.”

Blog by Hope Gill-Daintith, Corporate and Commercial Solicitor at Oliver & Co

I began my journey at Oliver & Co in October 2017, and never imagined that five years later I would be part of an employee-owned law firm.

Oliver & Co has always fostered a sense of community among its employees and a shared drive to deliver a great service, however the recent transition to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) has only furthered the unity and ambition to develop this further.

This change has prompted us all to reassess all aspects of our business; from how we collaborate internally, to how we interact with our clients, and even our role within the wider Chester community. Through this self-reflection, and with input from all within the firm, we have been able to identify areas for improvement and innovation and have actioned changes no matter how small.

I firmly believe that becoming an EOT has not only reinforced what was already present within Oliver & Co but has driven us to strive for excellence in all that we do. I personally believe that it has transformed our workplace from a good place to work to a great place to work, creating an environment where each of us is not just an integral part of the team but a vested owner in our collective success.

I am grateful to have been on this journey with all my colleagues and I am looking forward to being part of the future growth of Oliver & Co.
