Secretary

I joined Oliver and Co Solicitors in 2017 as the secretary in the Industrial Disease department. My role is to assist the solicitors by carrying out tasks on their behalf such as phone calls, letters and notes on files to ensure that the claim is progressing as quickly as possible. We work very closely with one another in our department and I often speak with the clients and assist them with their queries. Many clients have never pursued a legal claim before and I am available to help answer their queries.

I enjoy taking part in the Oliver and Co charity events, such as the bake sales or social events, and I am always impressed by how everyone gets involved. Our department in particular regularly fundraises for MacMillan as many of our clients suffer from cancer due to asbestos exposure. We always have a long list of volunteers and attendees at events and lots of generous donations too. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, particularly crime or murder mysteries, and taking my dog to the beach.
