Trainee Solicitor

Our people

I completed my Law degree at the University of Birmingham in 2020. I furthered my studies by completing the Legal Practice Course and Master’s in Law and Professional Legal Practice, obtaining a Distinction.

I joined Oliver & Co as a Paralegal in the Wills and Probate Department in October 2021. Since then, I was delighted to be awarded a Training Contract which commenced in April 2023.

I am currently completing the first seat of my Training Contract in the Industrial Disease Department. My role within the department is to run the initial stages of a potential asbestos disease claim. This includes speaking to the client on their initial enquiry to us, reviewing their medical records and conducting company research into their previous employers or their insurers. My aim is to put the clients at ease in what can often by upsetting situations and explain the claims process to them in simple terms. Additionally, I assist the Solicitors within the team with their caseload on a daily basis, as we strive to ensure that the claims progress as quickly as possible.

I care deeply about achieving justice for individuals who have developed asbestos related diseases as a result of their employer’s negligence and ensuring that they receive the compensation they deserve.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, travelling and sending time with my friends and family.
