Adam Hazell

I joined Oliver & Co as a Post Completion Assistant in the Conveyancing department in August 2022 after completing my A Levels and a 1-week work experience placement at the firm. Everyone was very welcoming, and I learnt a lot in such a short space of time. In October 2023, I moved to the Wills and Probate Department as a Legal Assistant.

I understand that making a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney is something that no one likes to think about and may often be quite a daunting experience. I strive to be a trustworthy point of contact for our clients by endeavouring to answer any questions and putting their worries at ease.

In my role, I am responsible for drafting simple Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorneys and Declarations of Trust along with aiding in Estate Administration matters. I also assist the fee earners with other administrative tasks that they need completing. As well as performing my duties within my role, I am also completing a Paralegal Apprenticeship, where I will qualify as a nationally recognised Paralegal in November 2024.

When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy being with friends and family, going to the gym, travelling when possible, and taking my dog for long walks in the countryside.
