Bronwen Hutchinson

I am a qualified solicitor in South Africa, having been initially admitted to the High Court of South Africa in 2006.

After leaving a general litigation practice, I was involved in the start up and running of a successful family business in the manufacturing sector for several years, using my legal skills to assist where necessary in employment law and contracts. We created much needed employment in an impoverished area and as a result, upskilled and developed people within the sector.

In 2018, I qualified as a Conveyancer, admitted once again by the High Court, and have worked in property law in South Africa since then. I gained experience in commercial and residential property conveyancing transactions, mortgage bond transactions, and drafting of sale and purchase contracts.

In 2022, I emigrated to the United Kingdom and began working at Oliver and Co in May as a Conveyancing Assistant. My role entails providing administrative support to the fee earner and working mostly in the completion phase of the process. I am learning a lot and enjoying the opportunity. It is a pleasure to assist our clients.

In my spare time, I love exploring the amazing historical cities that the UK has to offer. I hope to travel and see more of this beautiful country.
