On the 31st January 2022, Land Registry fees will be increasing. If you are purchasing or remortgaging a property from this date, then you will be affected by this change.
In order to register the property in your name and to update details of lenders at the Land Registry the post completions team will need to submit the necessary documents along with a fee. The fee that needs to be paid will depend on whether you are purchasing a property or remortgaging a property and the value of the property or loan.
The current fees for purchases are as follows:
