We were contacted by a distressed seller after his solicitors computer system were adversely affected by a cyber-attack. They had been acting on his sale and were unable to access any of their data to progress matters.
Time was of the essence since their buyer’s mortgage offer was expiring in a few days. If the matter was unable to complete within the required timescale it would not proceed.
We took the matter on and were able to turnaround the whole transaction for the client in a couple of days. This ensured that the buyer was able to complete the transaction before the expiry date of his mortgage offer, and our client therefore received the sale proceeds in a timely manner.
