Accident at Work – £145,000 in Compensation

Our client worked for a gang, laying slurry onto the roads. Unfortunately, his employers allowed unsafe working practices which resulted in his injury. At the time of his accident, he was standing in the bucket of a JCB pouring bitumen into a barrel. The JCB moved suddenly, and our client fell approximately 10 feet.

As a result of the fall, he badly fractured his heels. We recovered £145,000 from his employers in compensation.
