Hear From One of our Newly Qualified Solicitors

β€œI have recently qualified as a Solicitor at Oliver & Co after completing my two-year training contract and my experience has been nothing short of fantastic!

During my training, I had the opportunity to work across four incredible departments including Industrial Disease, Family Law, Conveyancing, and Wills & Probate. I was trusted with real responsibility where I was running my own files and conducting client meetings. This hands-on experience not only deepened my legal knowledge but also allowed me to build invaluable  confidence as I transitioned into my newly qualified role.

Throughout my training contract, I received exceptional guidance and support from highly knowledgeable and experienced solicitors, who were always willing to share their expertise with me. I was also given countless opportunities to grow my professional network and connect with like-minded professions through networking events, charity initiatives, and careers days. These experiences were instrumental in my development and gave me
the opportunity to help inspire others who were looking to pursue a legal career.

But what truly sets Oliver & Co apart is, its commitment to supporting both professional and personal growth. As a 100% employee-owned firm, where we all an interest in the company, we all share a genuine motivation to ensure the company’s continued success.

Β The well-being ofΒ staff is a top priority and can be seen from our brand-new, fully equippedΒ on-site gym to the wide range of development sessions, including legal trainingΒ courses, financial planning workshops, and mental health talks available to us.

Oliver & Co is a firm where everyone’s voice is heardΒ and respected, with a shared drive to continuously improve. EmployeeΒ representatives regularly meet with the company trustees to share ideas andΒ feedback from staff, ensuring that every team member plays a part in shapingΒ the future of the firm.

It is therefore no surprise that we have been voted the
β€˜Best Place to Work’. I am incredibly proud to have completed my training
contract here and am excited to continue my journey with Oliver & Co as an
Industrial Disease Solicitor.”
