Hannah Higson
Trainee Solicitor
I joined Oliver & Co Solicitors in September 2018 after studying Criminology at the University of Chester. Criminal Law was always something I was interested in; however, I wasn’t certain it would be the right career path for me. I therefore decided that the best way to solve my problem would be to gain some experience in a law firm. After a year of being a part of the Oliver & Co team, my passion and interest in Law increased so much that I decided to enrol myself onto the GDL conversion course. I completed this in the summer of 2021 with a ‘Commendation’.
Since 2021, I have completed my LPC studies, obtaining a grade ‘Distinction’ and have been extremely fortunate to be awarded with a Training Contract at Oliver & Co. I will therefore qualify as a Solicitor in October 2025.
I am currently a member of the Wills & Probate Team and have been since February 2020. I am responsible for drafting straightforward and complicated Wills, involving those that incorporate Trusts. I draft Lasting Powers of Attorney documents, apply to the Court of Protection for Deputy Appointments and aid with administering Estates. I have a great passion for providing clients with excellent customer service and gain a great sense of job satisfaction when clients provide positive feedback.
I understand that making a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney may be a daunting task however, I pride myself on offering a helpful and compassionate service to all clients.
