Legal Assistant
I joined Oliver & Co in September 2023 working as a Legal Assistant in the Corporate and Commercial department having just completed my undergraduate law degree. I have just started my Legal Practice Course alongside this role with the aim of qualifying as a solicitor once I finish my studies.
Within the Corporate and Commercial department my role consists of providing services to owner-managed and SME-sized businesses, from start-ups to established companies with owners that are looking to accelerate growth or plan a successful exit. The types of matter I assist with include acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, disposals, joint ventures, group restructuring and corporate governance, protection and exploitation of intellectual property and contractual frameworks (including franchising and distribution networks).
Outside of work, I enjoy playing football, wakeboarding, travelling, skiing, and eating good food with friends and family.
