Conveyancing Assistant
I joined Oliver & Co in May 2021 as a Post Completions Assistant in the Conveyancing Department and developed my understanding of the process which follows completion, including the requirements of paying Stamp Duty and the formalities of registering a property with the Land Registry, especially those that are being registered for the first time.
In September 2021 became a Conveyancing Assistant to Lisa Aston. I love working with Lisa, helping clients to navigate the stresses of buying and selling their homes, all whilst doing what we can to keep clients informed and estate agents updated to make the process run as smoothly as possible. Completing a purchase and telling the clients that they are now homeowners, often for the first time, is always such a special moment.
I studied Law at the University of Law in Chester and then went on to complete my LLM in Professional Legal Practice there in 2021, graduating with a Commendation. I hope to secure a Training Contract and progress my career, becoming a solicitor in the next few years.
Outside of work I enjoy reading and am a member of a book club, I also enjoy baking and going on walks with my boyfriend, exploring and photographing new places.
