We won £3,000 for a client who fell and injured her wrist due to a trip hazard at work.

Our client was working at an Opticians, when she tripped on some carpet which had become worn and dislodged. Unfortunately, she fell badly and fractured her wrist.

When she reported the accident to her boss he would not allow her to visit the hospital, even though she needed an X-Ray. She subsequently went to the hospital in her own time and was diagnosed with a fracture. Furthermore, her employer would not repair or replace the carpet, would not pay her sick pay, and did not allow her to take the time needed off work to recover.

We negotiated and obtained compensation amounting to £3,000, which our client was very happy with!
