Alex has over 28 years experience in family law and Rhiannon is a member of the Law Society Family Law accreditation and is also a member of Resolution. Resolution members are family lawyers and other professionals committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. Members follow a Code of Practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems. They encourage solutions that consider the needs of the whole family – and in particular the best interests of children.

Services we offer
At Oliver & Co we recognise that seeing a solicitor is daunting and therefore we offer a free initial telephone conversation over the phone. This will enable you to receive some initial advice which may be all you need at that stage, or it may help you decide you need to take further action and come to see us.
Should you require more detailed advice and want to see us face to face we offer a 45-minute appointment for £180 inclusive of VAT. We will be able to provide more detailed advice tailored to your specific needs. There is no obligation on you to proceed further at this stage.

Fixed Fees
It is important that you know the cost of work we will be undertaking on your behalf. We have a fixed fee for divorce proceedings where we charge £650 plus VAT and court fees. Unfortunately, the court fees are out of our control and these have to be paid irrespective of whether you use a solicitor or not. The current court fee is £593, so our combined fixed fee is £1,373 including VAT.
Beyond divorce, we do not specify fixed fees for other matters as we like to ensure our fees are tailor-made to your needs. We recognise that costly proceedings add stress to your situation, therefore, we ensure that we set out the costs at the beginning of your case and review them regularly throughout. We also offer flexible payment options to suit your needs.
