We won £12,934 for Mr. W after he was injured by a faulty bicycle.

Mr. W had purchased a Black Ridge Genesis bicycle.  As a responsible rider, Mr W kept the bicycle well oiled and had it regularly serviced.  He used the bicycle for exercise at the weekends and had been using it to commute to and from work.

Some time after purchasing it, Mr W was riding his bicycle when the lower supporting bracket suddenly cracked. Mr. W fell from his bike and sustained an injury to his abdomen and internal kidney damage. A claim was pursued, and we argued that the Defendant had supplied Mr. W with a defective bicycle that was neither of satisfactory quality nor fit for its purpose.

Liability for this accident was eventually admitted by the Defendant and settlement of this claim agreed for the sum of £12,934.00.
