Linda SchermerLinda SchermerHaving spent many years in the medical profession, Linda decided to change her career and become a solicitor. She completed her training contract with Weightmans Solicitors before joining Hempsons Solicitors upon qualification as a solicitor in 2005.
Linda joined our Clinical Negligence department in 2007 and acts on behalf of patients, handling a varied case load including cases concerning surgical injuries, delayed diagnoses (of fractures, cancers and other illnesses) and birth injuries.
Linda heads our Clinical Negligence department and strives to achieve the very best for her clients. We believe that Linda is one of the very few solicitors in the country who is also qualified as a doctor. Linda is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and has a wealth of experience in Surgery, Orthopaedics and Accident and Emergency medicine. Her expertise in medical matters means that our clients receive the best possible advice throughout the course of their claims.
When Linda is not working, which isn't often, she enjoys sporting activities such as tennis, scuba diving and skiing.
