Julian is a solicitor in the Personal Injury department. He qualified in 1999 and has had considerable experience of both Claimant and Defendant work during his career. He joined Oliver & Co in May 2002.

Julian deals with most types of personal injury claims, especially accident at work claims, tripping and slipping claims, road traffic accident claims and claims arising from accidents abroad.

Julian enjoys the challenge of fighting for the best possible settlement for his clients, particularly in cases where the Defendant does not admit that they were at fault.

Julian’s success include:-

• winning £35,000 compensation for a passenger who suffered multiple injuries in a car accident
• recovering £14,000 for a client who slipped in a bath in a hotel and suffered a laceration to his head
• recovering £16,000 for a client who tripped on a cracked paving slab
• negotiating compensation of over £22,000 for a client who was knocked off their moped by a car driver
• winning a number of claims in Court, where the Defendant had denied that they were responsible for the accident

Julian enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is a member of the City of Chester Triathlon, training regularly and competing throughout the year. Julian also likes playing squash and watching sport, especially football, cricket and wheelchair basketball.
