David OwenDavid OwenDavid is the Senior Partner and Head of the Personal Injury Department. Originally from Bangor, North Wales, he studied Law and Economics at Cardiff University qualifying as a solicitor in 1990. When he joined Oliver & Co. in December 2000, he replaced the one solicitor who handled the Personal Injury cases. He became Partner in October 2002, and has been instrumental in expanding the Personal Injury Department from one solicitor to a team of 14 solicitors and 3 paralegals.
The Personal Injury Department at Oliver & Co. now has solicitors who specialise in the following areas:

• Accident at work claims
• Public liability claims
• Industrial disease claims
• Clinical Negligence claims
David specialises in the more difficult and unusual Personal Injury cases, and has successfully handled claims for compensation for hundreds of clients over the years, including recovering compensation for:
• Two children who as a result of having their ears pierced were left with permanent disfigurement
• An air stewardess injured during a flight
• A child, brain damaged as a result of a road traffic accident
• Clients who have been the victims of Clinical Negligence
Married with 4 children David is a keen sportsman. He enjoys rugby and is especially keen on running; regularly taking part in organised events.
